Tripp's 1st Football Game

We took Tripp to his first football game Friday night and he did great! He fell asleep about 1/2 way through and slept for the rest of the time. Madeline and Sarah Beth did great too! They loved seeing their daddy on the sidelines, Sarah Beth kept pointing to him. Madeline really liked all the junk food she got to eat (1 hot dog, 1 shaved ice, 1 sprite and a blow pop!) It was really crowded so we had to wait for traffic to clear out before we could pull out of the parking lot so we got to see the buses leave w/ the players and coaches. Sarah Beth said she wanted to ride on the bus and I told her they were stinky but she didn't care she kept saying she wanted to ride on the "stinky bus":)

Our Last Hooray!
Finally made it to the beach for our last week of vacation before we loose Bub to football season. Nana and Paw Paw got an awsome golf cart and we have had fun cruising around in it! Madeline loves to drive it, she is heavy on the gas and way to light on the brakes! Hopefully we are going to get up early one morning and do pictures of the kids on the beach. I am excited to add Tripp's footprint in the sand with the girls. I'll try to post pictures:)
Today is Bubba and my 6year anniversary. It has been great! Madeline asked me what you do for anniversaries???? Too cute! She kept wishing us Happy Anniversary today.

Things you do for love!
Up tonight making fru fru flops for Madeline, I'm thinking of selling stuff like this:) I made her and Sarah Beth a pair for the 4th and they loved them. Such girly girls, right up my alley:) We had a great 4th of July at the beach, I'll post pictures later. Madeline is going to be a flower girl this weekend for Bubba's cousin Ashley. She is soooo excited! Everyday she asks me if it is the big day:) She can't wait to wear her dress and shoes.

Beach Fun!
We are having a blast at the beach. Tonight we went to a kids zone activity and the girls were hula hooping, well Sarah Beth was sure trying:) Madeline entered the contest and did great! Tomorrow we are going to hit the beach w/ Aunt Chele Chele and Uncle Dom.

School's Out For Summer!
So far summer vacation has been great! We have already made 2 beach trips and we are going for the third soon. Madeline participated in the Northwestern Cheer camp and loved it. Tripp is doing great, growing so fast, he is up to about 13lbs. He has started smiling and talking to us. Sarah Beth has really started articulating and carrying on conversations. I think it is sooo cute when she asks "where is Sarah's mommy/ daddy?" She still isn't getting any bigger but the doc has finally admitted that he thinks she is just going to be tiny, she gets that from my sister Michele. He was concerned at her 2 year check up when she fell off the chart on her height and weight so he had us take her to the imagining center to have her hand exrayed after her last check up to see if she had missed a growth spirt. If she did her bones would measure to be the size of a 3 year old but if they didn't then she may still go through a growth spirt or she is just going to be small. Her bones measured 9-12months, so we are good.

We Made It! and Madeline's Pre-K Graduation
Well we made it through 2 weeks of 2 working parents with 3 kids. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out but all in all not too bad. I hope it will get better in the mornings when mr Tripp is on a better feeding schedule. A couple of mornings he decided he wanted to eat at the time mommy needed to be getting ready for work! I am pumping my milk at work for Tripp to eat the next day and don't have enough to spare for an early morning feeding so it has to be done. We couldn't have made it through these first two weeks with out the help of our families! My mom took the first week to come down and take care of Tripp and Rhonda took the second week, we are so thankful for them! Rhonda also fed us all week long, how lucky are we:) Madeline graduated from Pre-K to Kindergarden, it is bitter sweet! Our little baby is growing up so fast, all of them are! Here is a video of her little "graduation" ceremony in class.

Back to Work
Well we made it through the first day of mommy back to work. It was really hard for me but Tripp did great. He only fussed a little before his first feeding with my mom. Last night was really hectic, we are going to have to figure out how to work out all the things that need done in a night like supper, baths, cleaning up, feedings and most of all sleep. Tripp was happy to see me and showed it by smiling and cooing at me when I got home. We went to the beach for the long weekend and had a good time. The weather was great but the ocean was still really cold. The kids didn't care though they still played in the sand. We went to the water park where Madeline and Bubba rode every water slide w/ the exception of one or two. Sarah Beth loved the little kids pool and riding some water slides w/ Paw Paw. Tripp slept almost the whole time then hung out w/ me on the side of the pool. Here is a picture of me and the kids:)

Reality is on it's Way Back!
Well the final day of my maternity leave is here, and I am crushed! It is always so hard to leave my babies but it has to be done. It is not so bad this time b/c I only have 9 days to work and then I'll be home again with Tripp and the whole gang for summer vacation. It will be really hard to leave him when the new school year begins. I love sharing my summer vacation time with my kids!
Tripp has grown sooo much over the past 8 weeks and I have loved watching it happen. He has been talking to me and smiling a lot, man it is sooo adorable! I can't wait to share our pictures we had made with you. Have a nice long weekend for Memorial Day!

Still Alive!
We are still alive! Although sometimes I feel like we only have our heads just above the water. Having 2 kids and a infant has been taking its toll. You forget how hard it is to complete simple daily tasks when there is another little person who needs you at their beckon call! We have had a great couple of weeks, I can't believe how fast they have gone by. I'll go back to work on the 25th for 2 weeks and then off for the summer! I have lots of pictures to share but that will have to be another day, I have to pump before little man wakes up and wants to eat again. Boy I can't wait to have sleep again one day!

Waiting for a Release!
As much as we have enjoyed our stay at the hotel PWC (Piedmont Women's Center) we are happy to be heading home today! The only thing holding up the release is a release:) You know you can't go when you have to! Hopefully we will have some success soon. I am ready to be in our own house but a little worried about the noise level w/ all 3 kids together 24/7. Bubba is just ready to sit in his recliner:) He has been a trooper on the couch so he deserves a little, and I mean little, recliner time:) Tripp is doing great, he has only lost some ounces but he is eating very well and will pack those back on soon. He wore is first Trojan shirt yesterday and his daddy was giving him some pointers on holding the football.

Welcome to the World
After a couple of bumps in the road we finally got to meet our sweet little Tripp! David Michael Pittman III arrived at 1:00pm this afternoon weighing in at 9lbs 6oz and was 22.5" long! What a whopper:) I don't think he'll be in NB very long! We are all doing well. Madeline was ready to take him home tonight and loved holding him. Sarah Beth is still checking him out everytime she thinks about paying him some attention, she is too bus doing other stuff right now:) I'll post the whole story later, it has been a long day and I need sleep! HA HA! Enjoy the pictures!

Hours to Go!
We are down to hours before Tripp's arrival, Yeah! I am starting to get nervous about the spinal needle and the pain but it is the only way to end this thing and meet our little baby. Madeline is getting excited and Sarah Beth still doesn't have a clue about what is about to rock her world but she has been giving me some extra loving that will get me through the weekend with out her:) At this point we are scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 6:00am and the c-sec is scheduled for 8:00am. Keep checking for pictures!

The Countdown Continues
Well for those of you who voted that we will make it, good news we are still hanging in there:) Nothing is happening, and I mean nothing cervix closed baby still high, so I think Tripp is very comfortable. We did have a little fun this morning w/ Elicia, it is her birthday- Happy Birthday LeLe! Bubba called and said that the baby was here. He loves to torture her:) Bubba thought up the plan last night and couldn't wait to execute it this morning! It is also my brother's birthday- Happy Birthday DomDom! Which is the reason to wait to have the baby til next friday, so he will have his own birthday. Remember to keep checking in, hopefully we will be able to keep the blog page posted with lots of pictures of our new arrival and his sisters:)

The Countdown 24 More Days and More Snow!
Well we are down to days, 24 more to be exact! I am getting excited and nervous at the same time! There is still lots to do and I never feel like I'm prepared enough! I start visiting the OBGYN weekly and I am sooo ready to not be pregnant anymore! I am getting excited that soon we will see our little Tripp's face and he will see ours! Yes, I've given up on the name disscussions, and I also need to order his Easter basket! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that everything goes smooth sailing for the next 3 weeks! Of course by this time all you mommies out there know the most common comment when you walk in a room..... when are you due, oh your not going to make it! Well that has not been the case for me 2 times now so I'm not putting much into that but I have added a poll to the right of the screen for you to leave your opinions:)
Now to the snow day! We had a great snow day yesterday. Madeline and Bubba had a blast. We had to drag her inside with 3 layers of soaking wet clothes and crying! They built a miniture snowman and hit every good sled riding hill in and around our neighborhood! Sarah Beth and I joined them for a little while and she was happy just stepping in the snow and trying to throw snowballs like Madeline:) Bubba put her in the sled and pushed her down a little hill in our front yard. It was so funny, she started out sitting up but as soon as the sled took off she would lay down and go "daddy, daddy, daddy." She went two times and decided that was enough. Enjoy the pictures!

Hudson Caring Bridge site
I forgot to mention that I added Hudson's caring bridge web site link to our blog page. It is to the right of the screen.
And the Winner is......
Okay I'm getting a little slack again. Maybe when the baby comes and I'm off I'll have more time (Ha Ha!) to post more:) All I can say is I'll try! So Tripp won the poll with 44% of the votes, thanks everyone! We are still having discussions on this issue, well at least I am, so we'll have to let you know when we have decided. Since the last post we had a snow day, Madeline turned 5 years old (it is just so hard to believe), Sarah Beth is learning that she has her daddy's rhythme and Valentine's Day. Here are a couple of pictures. Leave us a comment by clicking on the comment below. Enjoy!

Look to the right of the screen
Sorry, the poll is on the right of the blog screen. You can vote for more than one name.
What should we call him?
Ok, the big debate in the Pittman household lately has been what we should name our new little bambino. I think it is only fair I get to pick at least one name since Bubba got to name Sarah Beth, he says that is not true but he is wrong:) I'm trying to plea my case, give us your input!
We are back
It has been crazy over the last few months but hopefully I can start keeping up w/ the blog again especially with our newest arrival coming on March 27th! A lot of things have happened over the past few months, our nephew Hudson was born on October 30th, he is sooo cute. He was diagnosed with CF a couple of weeks later which has been devastating for our whole family but he is doing good. We found out our newest addition is going to be a boy, much to Bubba's delight! I'm still not sure what to do w/ a boy. No hairbows, dresses or tights! We had a great holiday season. Sarah Beth had such a good time opening her presents, and any others she could get a hold of:) Madeline loved being home and getting her new baby doll and cradle from Santa Claus. We hope all of you had the same great holiday as well! We went on the Polar Express ride in Bryson City, NC http://www.polarexpressride.com/ and both of the girls loved the experience. We are now back in school and falling back into a routine, which will be nice when it evens out. I will be adding some pictures soon so keep checking. I'll keep posting, you keep reading:)
